VIDEO MIX: Masked students and outside agitators block attendees from Coulter speech at UC-Berkeley
BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA — Conservative commentator Ann Coulter was invited to the University of California-Berkeley campus Wednesday evening to deliver a speech sponsored by the Berkeley College Republicans.
Several hundred angry protesters swarmed the venue in an attempt to shut down her appearance, forming a wall to prevent students from entering the auditorium, and yelling expletives at the police who were there to provide security.
Multiple masked protesters were arrested, and police were forced to form a line between screaming protesters and exiting attendees.

The Berkeley College Republicans sponsored Coulter's speech at Wheeler Hall which was delivered mostly uninterrupted except for an outburst or two from a few hecklers in attendance. Even with the main entrance to the venue blocked by protesters with interlocked arms, seats in the auditorium were over two-thirds filled.

“We would like to thank all our attendees, especially those who got punched and kicked while waiting outside.”
More than 2000 protestors showed up outside our @AnnCoulter event tonight but we were undeterred. We would like to thank all our attendees, especially those who got punched and kicked while waiting outside. Doxing has been a common intimidation strategy used in previous protests.

Notice the "Left-Right Dialogue" slogan printed on the empty "empathy" tent. It's unclear how the two sides are supposed to have a dialogue in an environment marked by masks, screaming and in some case physical violence.
No one was using the “Empathy Tent”! @anntensity @AnnCoulter pic.twitter.com/WHiQ3q8O7U
