Elizabeth Warren questions if Americans 'want someone who lies to them'
20 Jan 2020 — #2020
Democratic 2020 candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Sunday questioned whether Americans want to support a presidential candidate who doesn't tell the truth.
During an impromptu with the press yesterday, Warren was asked if she thought it's “disqualifying for a presidential candidate to lie to the American public about anything?”
Her answer was rather ironic, to say the least. She was obviously caught a little by surprise – she's not really used to being challenged by the press – but her ability to keep a straight face through her answer is a skill only a true politician could have.
“I would think that it — you know, how could the American people want someone who lies to them?” Warren answered. “I think that we just do our best out there every day, and I hope that’s what happens with everyone.”

“How could the American people want someone who lies to them?”
Yet she still expects people to elect her after lying to the country about her Native American “heritage” for decades?
Warren has lied about being an American Indian, about sending her kids to private school, and even being fired from a teacher position for being pregnant. And now she's lying about Bernie Sanders.https://t.co/4m4Dbwk287— The Federalist (@FDRLST) January 20, 2020
