During the CNN election coverage Tuesday of the Iowa caucus, a panel was discussing overlap of college-educated white voters between two of the campaigns, when from off-camera, a voice similar to that of Anderson Cooper could be heard referring to those same voters as “white trash.”

Keep in mind these are Democrat voters he's potentially referring to here.
Obviously, it wouldn't be that shocking to learn that Anderson Cooper has an elitist, even derisive, attitude towards rural Americans in fly-over country.
But if he keeps letting it slip out on-air like this, his fellow Democrats might start thinking he's a liability... that maybe, just maybe, he's the Mole. Don't forget: the Mole was a saboteur!
