Attorney General William P. Barr acknowledged Monday that the Justice Department would evaluate material that Rudolph W. Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, had gathered from Ukrainian sources claiming to have damaging information about former vice president Joe Biden and his family — though Barr and other officials suggested Giuliani was being treated no differently than any tipster.
U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Scott Brady, will reportedly vet the information received from President Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, regarding the dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden and his family in Ukraine.

In a series of tweets Tuesday afternoon, CBS News' Catherine Herridge also reported that, according to her sources, Attorney General Barr has appointed outside staff to review the Ukraine matter and that this review goes beyond Biden-Ukraine. She also reported it's separate from the Durham probe and has already been underway for several weeks.
