Roger Stone judge calls out Fox News’s Tucker Carlson in court

At a Tuesday hearing regarding Roger Stone’s complaints of juror bias and a request for a new trial, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson called out Fox News host Tucker Carlson by name.

    H/T: Law & Crime

“Tucker Carlson accused the foreperson of the jury of being an anti-Trump zealot...Any attempts to invade the privacy of the jurors or to harass or intimidate them is completely antithetical to our system of justice,” said Judge Jackson.

It was an apparent reference to Carlson's show from last week. During a segment on the Stone case, Carlson directed some blame at Judge Jackson, saying she “allowed [Tomeka Hill] to run the jury" after referring to her as an "Obama-appointed judge.”

Just prior, Carlson pointed out the sheer volume of evidence available through Tomeka Hill's social media accounts that made it easy for anyone to see she was an “anti-Trump zealot.”

Shockingly, Stone's defense team was forced to admit to the court that they had not taken the time to ‘Google’ individual members of the jury, something Judge Jackson pointed out was “regular practice by trial lawyers these days.”

And, of course, President Trump was not able to resist weighing in on the issue of Tomeka Hill, tweeting that “she was totally biased” and that “Roger wasn't even working on my campaign.”
