The husband of Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey pulled a gun on a Black Lives Matters protester who showed up on the couple’s doorstep early Monday morning, she confirmed in an emotional press conference at her office on the eve of an election in which she faces two opponents.

I’m front of DA Jackie Lacey’s house for that community meeting she promised with the @BLMLA crew. Rang her bell to invite her.— Melina Abdullah (@DocMellyMel) March 2, 2020
Her husband pulled a gun, cocked it, pointed it at my chest and said “I’ll shoot you. I don’t care who you are.” @WP4BL @RealJusticePAC @shaunking pic.twitter.com/WtazUWSJIC
District Attorney Lacey held a press conference after the incident and became emotional as she explained the pressure she and her family have been under and what it has been like to be followed, photographed and repeatedly harassed by protesters.
Incidents like this are happening all over the country. Supporters of Democrat presidential primary frontrunner Sen. Bernie Sanders stalked and harassed Illinois Democrat congressional candidate Betsy Dirksen Londrigan just last week. This type of guerilla protesting is eventually going to get someone killed.

Husband: I will shoot you! Get off of my porch!
Protester: Can you tell Jackie Lacey that we're here?
Husband: [pointing finger] I don't care who you are. Get off of my porch right now. [pointing gun] We're calling the police right now.
[husband closes the door]
Protester: Wow! He pulled a gun and pointed it at my chest. We're here for the community meeting Jackie Lacey! [chanting, drums, etc.]
