A lawyer for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said her client was prepared to "audit" the U.S. intelligence community as White House national security adviser. And that, according to former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, is partly why federal agents "set up" Flynn.
H/T: Washington Examiner
"He was going to audit the intel agencies because he knew about the billions [former CIA Direction] Brennan and company were running off books," Powell told the Vicki McKenna Show.
Vicki and Sidney discuss the flagrant and varied instances of prosecutorial abuse that the federal government used in order to extract a guilty plea from General Flynn, and the evidence that has been, and continues to be, withheld that could exonerate him of any wrongdoing. They also discuss her efforts to have his guilty plea thrown out. Listen to the full interview below.
Powell also joined host Jimmy Sengenberger during "Jimmy the Crossroads" on April 2 to discuss her book, how we got to a point (as she argues) of federal prosecutorial abuse, some steps to contain it, Gen. Flynn's guilty plea, and more! Listen below.
