The anti-malaria drug that President Trump touted as a possible treatment for coronavirus, hydroxychloroquine, successfully lowered the death rate among hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the most recent study of the drug. The large-scale analysis, conducted by Henry Ford Health System, was published Thursday in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Infectious Diseases.
H/T: Just The News
“The data here is clear that there was benefit to using [hydroxychloroquine] as a treatment for sick, hospitalized patients,” said Dr. Steven Kalkanis of Henry Ford Health System.
I told you for months that hydroxychloroquine was effective against COVID-19.— Dr. David Samadi (@drdavidsamadi) July 3, 2020
Dr. Fauci and the CDC said that it was not only ineffective, but dangerous.
Now, the science has proven me right.
We must use facts and science rather than politics.
Why would Fauci have done this?
The media’s obsession with harming the President literally resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths.— Dr. David Samadi (@drdavidsamadi) July 3, 2020
Not to mention state governors who banned this drug simply out of disdain for the President.
I don’t think we have ever seen such an egregious misuse of power in our lives.
The disgusting, lying media fought the president tooth and nail for months telling us this drug was deadly. Every damn newsroom repeated this crap. Now they tell us it helped. How about apologizing to the American people and the president, you frauds.https://t.co/4EpjLsW1Pg— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) July 3, 2020

Spent over an hour yesterday talking to 2 different TX doctors who BOTH told me they are seeing very positive results using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID19.— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) July 3, 2020
Media flipped out bc Trump said good things about it.
The “study” they cite was retracted. https://t.co/45nQMRooHQ
How many Americans will lose their lives or face severe health consequences because of anti-@realDonaldTrump's media war on #Hydroxychloroquine? The media/medical establishment's suppression of this drug will go down as WORST scandal of modern medical era. https://t.co/igZOwrDMBT https://t.co/w6zhxisVc0— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) July 3, 2020
