The New York City Mayor, who has called for defunding the NY police and whose city has seen a surge in crime, is angry that Trump has not given him the money he’s asked for, going as far as calling the President a ‘hypocrite.’ New York Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin actually pointed out that the hypocrite is actually de Blasio, not Trump.

“Fascinatingly ineffective, first of its kind strategy in progress by Mayor de Blasio: At the same time, he is both asking the President for a $7.4 Billion bailout while also trolling the President by painting this mural in front of Trump Tower in NYC,” said Zeldin on Twitter.

Important stuff. Mayor seems to have his priorities in place. Antagonize the man you will need to beg for a bailout. Shi@ for brains DeBlasio. Most important city in the world, and the voters chose him 2x to run it. As dumb as he is tall.— Mr Hollis Mulwray (@HMulwray) July 9, 2020

#BlackLivesMatter founded by admitted Marxists, inspired by cop killing terrorist Joann Chesimard, has convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg fund raising for them. Their slogans: pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon; the only good cop is a dead cop; yet @NYCMayor supports them. https://t.co/mnwR1zUaOB— Bernard B. Kerik (@BernardKerik) July 9, 2020
So much for a bailout to NYC. DeBlasio shot that in the ass when he painted BLM on 5th Avenue. He’s publicly pushing racial division. NYPD should turn their backs are that worthless pos of a mayor. That includes his security detail.— Thomas Seiler (@ThomasSeiler16) July 9, 2020
.@NYMayor and @TheRevAl were both spotted helping paint Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower.@RepLeeZeldin questioned why De Blasio would try such "fascinatingly ineffective ... trolling," while also asking @realDonaldTrump for a $7.4B bailout.https://t.co/ec9OWqeEGk— Washington Examiner (@dcexaminer) July 10, 2020
